Getting in from the airport, moving around the city, and finding the building. Fares are in RON (Romanian Leu, the local currency) — 1 EURO is roughly 5.21 RON.
From the airport to the city centre
Express bus 100 from the Departures Terminal
All arrivals are currently directed to the Departures Terminal because of the construction works, so follow the signs for Departures, not Arrivals. The bus stops a couple of metres outside the exit.
It runs as an express between Otopeni Airport and Piața Unirii, stopping only along the main axis of the city: Otopeni City, Băneasa Airport, Piața Presei, Piața Victoriei, Piața Romană, Piața Universității and finally Piața Unirii.
Piața Victoriei, Piața Romană, Piața Universității and Piața Unirii are the backbone of the city centre and all connect to the metro. Piața Unirii is 5 minutes from the venue.
The 3 RON ticket buys 90 minutes on all surface transport in the city, metro excluded. You can pay by card on the bus.
The train to Gara de Nord
Trains run roughly every 30 minutes to Gara de Nord, the main railway station. Tickets are available online.
The terminal faces the Arrivals building, though reaching it is not straightforward during the construction works. The station itself could use some modernisation, but it connects to the metro, buses and trolleybuses.
Bolt or Uber
Ride-hailing works here as it does across Europe. Expect 40–60 RON into the city on a good day — every operator applies an airport surcharge.

Also an option, bookable from the machines inside the Arrivals terminal.
Getting around the city
If you are between Piața Victoriei and Piața Unirii, walk. That stretch is where the old town character of the city actually lives.
Further out, or heading somewhere specific, in rough order of ease:
- Metro — 5 RON per ride. Covers the city well, but does not reach the airport.
- Buses — 3 RON for 90 minutes.
- Trams — 3 RON for 90 minutes. Mostly outside the centre, connecting it to the six main districts.
- Uber, Bolt and taxis.
Finding the venue
Get to Piața Unirii by metro or tram, then walk east along Bulevardul Corneliu Coposu for 5 to 7 minutes. The Google offices are inside the tallest building in the area, right next to an OMV petrol station.
